Founded in 2019 by owner Kim Pickel, Young Sport Horses is a valuable resource for individuals passionate about the development of horses in the realms of dressage and show jumping. With years of experience living in Europe, Kim Pickel decided to share her extensive knowledge by offering consultations for riders and their horses. Whether it’s providing guidance to riders on their journey or assisting them in navigating the complexities of horsemanship, Young Sport Horses is dedicated to supporting equestrians at every stage.

One of our key services includes scouting for horses both in the European Union and the United States. We understand the importance of finding the perfect equine partner, and our expertise allows us to identify exceptional prospects that align with the specific needs and goals of riders.

Additionally, Young Sport Horses spends six months in Reno, Nevada, where we specialize in starting young horses, working with challenging equine cases, and empowering riders to develop their skills and independence. We believe in helping riders “stand” on their own two feet, fostering their growth alongside their horses.
